ACE-Certified Personal Fitness Trainer & Wellness Coach

Alan Freishtat is an ACE-Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and certified Wellness Coach.  He is a graduate of the Cornell University Certificate course in Plant Based nutrition. Additionally, Alan has contributed articles, as a Health and Lifestyle columnist, to Hamodia International edition, Hamodia INYAN Magazine (U.S. edition), The Jerusalem Post, Yeshiva World News, the OU’s Shabbat Shalom Newsletter and contributes to numerous other publications as well. Alan sits on the Board of Advisors for Find A Trainer-Israel.

More than 25 years ago, Alan took control of his own health and quality of life and is now devoted to helping others do the same. Involved in the health, fitness, and exercise industry for over 22 years, Alan has operated a highly successful personal training business in Jerusalem for over 18 years. He is one of the few personal trainers specializing in working with clients with anxiety and depression, regularly receiving referrals from highly respected psychiatrists and psychologists. He personally developed two programs incorporating dietetics, exercise and behavioral change to help clients reach success in sustained weight loss.

There are numerous people who are no longer suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and lower back pain who owe their new found lives to Alan.

In 2009, Alan created, founded and co-directed the first of its kind program, combining diet, weight loss, and behavioral change for weight loss. Since then, Alan has helped over 1,000 clients with issues regarding weight loss, metabolic diseases, stress, depression, and anxiety.

Miriam Botwinick is a registered dietician and nutrition professional with more than 15 years of diversified experience in nutrition counseling and consulting, education, and health & wellness. Her areas of expertise include weight management, pediatric and adult nutrition, diabetes, kidney disease, and food allergies. She has worked in various hospitals and clinics as well as having her own private practice. She is accredited by the Israeli Ministry of Health and the Commission on Dietetic Registration, USA.

Adina Hirsh Mondrow is the office manager of Alan Fitness and administers all of the associated programs. She achieved her BA in Art from Yeshiva University and MA from The Hebrew University in Non-profit management. Adina is a creative, organized individual with years of experience in office administration.
